Over the last decade, Georgie has worked to improve the lives of women and girls. Working as a Policy Adviser in Australia’s Office for Women within the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Georgie’s ambition of driving positive change and outcomes for women and girls has influenced the creation of Bloom Based. Travelling to New York for the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in 2019 as a civil society representative, and more recently in 2023 supporting the official Australian Delegation - Georgie’s insights to the ongoing challenges women and girls face internationally drives her ambition to ensure young girls of today will grow up in a safe society where they are respected, valued, and supported to achieve their goals. Prior to the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Georgie worked in the corporate sector for 4 years in both legal and advisory positions. She was a 2021 Global Voices Scholar to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Youth Forum, where she developed a policy proposal presenting a consultation model connecting First Nations Women to the digital economy.

Georgie has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Economics) from Queensland Univeristy of Technology (QUT), and has a New South Wales Working With Children Check.
